Robert Catell Appointed Chairman of Keyera Board of Directors

CALGARY, Nov. 6, 2012 /CNW/ - Keyera Corp. (TSX:KEY) (TSX:KEY.DB.A) ("Keyera") announced today that Mr. Robert B. (Bob) Catell has been appointed Chairman of Keyera's Board of Directors, effective immediately. He succeeds the late Honourable E. Peter Lougheed who passed away in September 2012.

Mr. Catell is currently Chairman of the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center of Stony Brook University. He has a long history in the energy sector and with Keyera. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of KeySpan Corporation, Mr. Catell was instrumental in the creation of Keyera in 1998, and has served as a member of Keyera's Board since it went public in 2003. He is past Chairman of the American Gas Association and is a Vice-Chairman of the National Petroleum Council's Natural Gas Committee.  He also served as Executive Director and Deputy Chairman of National Grid plc from 2007 through 2009.
